As we reported, Korean manufacturer LG has recently announced glasses-free 3D displays for mobile devices measured at 4.3 inches and Sharp is expected to launch a handset with a similar 3D display sometime this year. And of course, Nintendo is closing in on the the introduction of its 3DS mobile game playing device which could be considered something of a competitor to the Apple iPod touch amongst game players.
Other parts of the report claim that Apple has developed a technique to control a game using both the FaceTime camera and face recognition. The company has been working into 3D for sometime and owns some patents related to some techniques involved in its use on mobile screens dating back to 2006.
